Dr. Karthik is a qualified doctor. He pursued his MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He did his MD-Pediatrics from Post Graduate College Chandigarh. He completed his Neonatal Intensive Care Fellowship (UK) from Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health, London.
Career
Dr Karthik Nagesh did his training in Neonatal Intensive Care at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospitals, situated in London and at the Hope Hospital, University of Manchester School of Medicine. In 1992, he returned to India and set up India's first tertiary level care Neonatal Intensive Care Units. He is renowned for having set up a 'state-of-the-art NICU' at the Manipal Hospital, Bangalore. Dr Karthik Nagesh neonatologist, was the Head of Paediatrics at Manipal Hospital from 2001 to 2004 and later was elected as the Head of Neonatology.
