A blessing was given on 23 November 1913 to the current impressive building designed by Architect Laban. In 1954, the school was upgraded to secondary school. The students then offered the U.P. Board-affiliated high school examination. The school is currently a member of the Examination Certificate Council for Indian Schools.
In 1872 their first principal, Sister Claire Miller, founded the school to accommodate the less wealthy members of the Anglo-Indian community of Lucknow. On 3 October 1904, after Saint Agnes, she named the new school. The qualities developed through co-curricular activities include interpersonal skills, faith, balance, and reliability. Throughout the school program, such actions are therefore essential. These include debates, talk, art and craftsmanship, general know-how, singing, dancing, physical education, and needlework.
