Dr. Barbara Karin Vela is a general practitioner and diving physician based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is currently practicing at Dubai London Clinic & Specialty Hospital in Umm Suqeim, Dubai. Dr. Vela has over 15 years of experience in general practice and family medicine, initially working at Emirates Hospitals' busy walk-in clinic before joining Dubai London Clinic in 2007. She graduated from the University of Zagreb Faculty of Medicine in 2000 and has since obtained additional qualifications, including a diploma in diving medicine in 2009.
 

Dr. Barbara Karin Vela takes a holistic and patient-centered approach to general medicine, with a broad interest in all aspects of the field. She aims to build lasting and trusted relationships with her patients and their families. In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Vela is also pursuing a postgraduate degree in Anthropology. She is known for her warm and attentive approach to patient care.
