Dr. Jha, the main vet, wasn't the starched stereotype either. He greeted my nervous pup with a gentle laugh and a scratch behind the ears. No stuffy pronouncements, just a friendly chat about tail-chasing and ear scratches. My dog, usually a bark-happy Houdini, was disarmed. This vet spoke dog.
